Beginners Please with Pitman 2000 is graded with the shorthand theory presentation in Pitman 2000 First Course. The 52 Units provide short form and phrase drills, practice in frequently used words, and shorthand theory revision. Thedictation passages are linked with typewriting drills designed to increase speed with accuracy, and there are background exercises which draw attention to basic points of typing technique and English usage.
