* We remember the 70's as the decade when rock music became more technical, with endless solos sounding over the lawns at great outdoor festivals. Sound technology developed rapidly but was still analog. Most of it was about getting as much power as possible out of loudspeakers, which towered up as high-rise buildings on the estuaries. The super groups and the hard rock flourished. The 70's is also the decade when disco music was born with artists such as Tina Charles, Gloria Gaynor and Bee Gees. The 70's music was melodious and a lot of immortal songs were launched by artists and groups like Deep Purple, Eagles, Siade, Abba, Rod Stewart, Queen and Eric Clapton. These are the ones we gathered in HITS 70-TAL. HITS 70-TAL. *** Contents INNEHALL A horse with no name America 46 A little bit more Dr Hook & The Medicine Show 106 Always on my mind Elvis Presley 108 Annie's song John Denver 164 Ballroom Blitz Sweet 85 Beautiful Sunday Daniel Boone 22 Black night Deep Purple 24 Bright eyes ArtGarfunkel 166 Cats in the cradle Harry Chapin 181 Chiquitita ABBA 6 Copacabana Barry Manilow 19 Crocodile Rock Elton John 62 Dancing Queen ABBA 136 Dark lady Cher 58 Desperado Eagles 16 Don't cry for me Argentina ur Evita 28 Don't let the sun go down on me Elton John 140 Durham Town Roger Whittaker 26 El condor pasa Los Inkas/ Simon & Garfunkel 97 Familjelycka Bernt Staf 168 Far far away Slade HO Fernando ABBA 32 Fire and rain Blood, Sweat & Tears 30 Get it on TRex 112 God save the Queen Sex Pistols 60 Goodbye yellow brick road Elton John 142 Grease Frankie Valli 34 Help me make it through the night Gladys Knight & The Pips 176 Hooked on a feeling Bjbrn Skifs & Blablus 36 Hotel California Eagles 178 How deep is your love Bee Gees 88 I can help Billy Swan 56 I love to love Tina Charles 190 I was made for lovin'you Kiss 139 I will survive Gloria Gaynor 144 If you don't know me by now Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes 10 If you leave me now Chicago 184 Imagine John Lennon 152 Isn't she lovely Stevie Wonder 135 It's a heartache Bonnie Tyler 113 Jag vill ha en egen mane Ted Gardestad 92 Jag ar en liten pojk Pugh Rogefeldt 163 Jambalaya Blue Ridge Rangers/Carpenters 8 Juanita Bjorn Afzelius 126 Laughter in the rain NeilSedaka 189 Little Queenie The Rolling Stones 37 Living next door to Alice Smokie 170 Long train runnin' The Doobie Brothers 153 Maggie May Rod Stewart 14 Mamma Mia ABBA 186 Me and Bobby McGee JanisJoplin 177 Movie Star Harpo 118 New world in the morning Roger Whittaker 102 New York, New York (Theme from) LizaMinelli 174 Nothing rhymed Gilbert O'Sullivan 42 Om du nansin' kommer fram till Samarkand.
