In the twenty-second century, humanity discovers an endless, pollution-free energy source known as the "Electron Pump". This miracle setup operates through a revolutionary exchange of matter between Earth and a Parallel Universe (the Para-universe) governed by entirely different radioactive and nuclear laws. While the global establishment celebrates this ultimate triumph of tech progress, a few rogue scientists stumble upon a terrifying truth: this cosmic exchange is secretly altering the fundamental laws of physics in our own universe, a process that will inevitably trigger a solar explosion and wipe out Earth. Divided into three distinct acts, the narrative masterfully covers the political and academic battles on Earth, explores the complex lives of the brilliant, three-sexed alien entities in the dying Para-universe, and moves to a lunar colony where a final, desperate scientific solution is being calculated. It stands as a brilliant and poignant exploration of institutional arrogance and human blindness.
